Brent leads Forrester’s technology resilience, backup, storage, and mainframe modernization research. Brent helps technology leaders become adaptive, creative, and resilient with modern yet pragmatic approaches. His research spans skill evolutions (from administrators to site reliability engineers), full software-as-a-service backup protection, integrated development approaches (applying DevOps to mainframe programs), optimizing storage for AI, public cloud resilience strategies, and best practices for cloud-native/Kubernetes storage and resilience. Previous Work Experience Brent came to Forrester with over 16 years of experience in technology support and IT management, supporting nonprofit and education-based organizations. Brent has helped design, implement, and support technology systems with varying needs, from virtualization to networking to audio/visual. Brent has a special passion for client service and has worked hard to understand his employers’ and clients’ goals in order to deliver IT service in the most appropriate manner for their business. Education Brent holds a Master of Business Administration with honors (with concentrations in organizational leadership and finance), a Master of Science in computer information systems, and a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy from Boston University.

Jeff has over twenty years of experience building and marketing products & solutions for data protection, security, backup, storage, disaster recovery, and more. His experience includes leadership roles in product marketing, product management, and software development at Veeam, Commvault, EMC, Veritas, ExaGrid, and others.

Dave is the CSO of Quick Intelligence, a boutique VAR cybersecurity consulting and Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) specializing in playing the “trusted advisor” role for over 100 clients, from SMB to enterprise. He is a recognized expert in the cybersecurity field, has been singled out by IT Business as one of the 8 Toronto cybersecurity experts you should know, and speaks regularly at local and global conferences. Dave is one of the founders of TASK, the Toronto Area Security Klatch, as well as Sector, Canada’s largest and most successful cybersecurity conference, where Dave is one of the Advisors. Dave acts as the moderator annually for The Cloud Security Alliance’s Cloud Security Summit.

Having been with Acronis 6 years now, James Erby helps align the appropriate data protection & cyber security software to meet the needs of our partners’ environments. He is responsible for working with potential and current partners to demonstrate Acronis software and you will often find James regularly hosting product knowledge and technical training seminars. During non-Covid times, he's on the road educating people about Acronis software solutions.
