Barbarians at the gates: The MSP’s opportunity to protect local government | Acronis #CyberFit Summit 2022

Language
In English

Governments are highly vulnerable to data breaches. They face dual pressures: they must defend themselves against cyberattacks such as ransomware, that seek to profit from their privacy protection obligations, and must also preserve the trust of their constituents. MSPs are uniquely positioned to cultivate and expand relationships with government agencies by providing robust solutions to keep their clients in regulatory compliance, while preserving the invaluable data they are entrusted with.

This on-demand video features Tye Hayes, Founder and CEO of N-Ovate Business Solutions, who was also the former CTO/Interim CIO for the City of Atlanta — guiding the city through Super Bowl LIII and a global pandemic. She spoke at the Acronis #CyberFit Summit 2022 in Miami Beach, Florida, sharing her insights.

In this recording, Tye discusses:

●       The data breach that threatened the City of Atlanta

●       How this past experience can help protect local governments today

●       The importance of reaching out and forming partnerships

●       Finding a balance that includes design, security, innovation and funding

●       The role of MSPs when partnering with local governments

MSPs that partner with local governments need to be intentional about providing support and understand that breaches can interrupt life and safety for citizens, including education and jobs.

Watch now to learn how MSPs can provide the resources and expertise necessary to prevent data breaches and protect sensitive information.
