Philipp Rösler, former Vice Chancellor of Germany, joined the Acronis Board of Directors in May of 2021, and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in politics, technology, and economics to Acronis. Philipp served as the Federal Minister of Health from 2009-2011 and as Federal Minister of Economics and Technology and as the Vice Chancellor of Germany from 2011 to 2013. Additionally, during that time, Philipp was the Chairman of the liberal Free Democratic Party (FDP) from 2011 to 2013. In January 2014, Philipp became a member of the Managing Board and Head of the Centre for Regional Strategies of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Switzerland. He currently sits on the Board of Directors for a number of prominent companies, including Brainloop, Lakestar, Enmacc, Loc Troi Group. Born in Vietnam, Philipp was the first cabinet minister of Asian background in Germany. He also has a PhD in heart surgery.

Jeff has worked in technology for his entire career and been knee-deep in the hosting and service provider space for 17 years. His career has covered all the angles – from hardware, software, and hosting, to the cloud while working in large enterprises, small startups, and the in-betweens. He specializes in messaging, human behavior, economics, and “solving the human puzzle” of marketing and communications. A vastly experienced, technology professional, with a full spectrum skill set encompassing cyber security, software development, systems and implementation. Experienced in working globally on tech security and infrastructure establishment, across a variety of sectors including Banking, Logistics, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Professional Services, Retail & Government Sectors in the UK. Adept at building and maintaining excellent working relationships with people at all levels, he applies his broad range of skills, refined over a 30-year period to work with business partners and global vendors allowing solid engagements with clients and ensuring trusted, long term partnerships.

Oleg Shaikhatarov drives excellence within R&D, Product Management and Operations. Before moving to this role, Oleg served as VP of Product Management at Acronis, responsible for Cyber Platform and Cyber Infrastructure and focused on driving integration capabilities of Acronis Cyber Platform and growing adoption among large number of ISV and Platform Integration partners of Acronis. With over seven years at Acronis, Oleg has also served as VP of Engineering at Acronis and driven development efforts for core parts of Acronis products including Cyber Platform, Cyber Files, Cyber Backup and Cyber Disaster Recovery.

Stephen is passionate about technology and innovation. During his career, he has held various roles in: Sales, Sales Engineering and Professional Services; with a focus on SaaS based solutions for multiple market segments and verticals. Primarily focused on technical engagements to discover and understand the partner requirements and provide solutions.

Having been with Acronis 6 years now, James Erby helps align the appropriate data protection & cyber security software to meet the needs of our partners’ environments. He is responsible for working with potential and current partners to demonstrate Acronis software and you will often find James regularly hosting product knowledge and technical training seminars. During non-Covid times, he's on the road educating people about Acronis software solutions.
