Wayne is VP, Cybersecurity Programs and the Executive Director for the CompTIA ISAO. He is co-author-contributor and past facilitator for the ConnectWise MSP+ Framework, Playbooks and Certify Fundamentals and Advanced Courses. Wayne uses his more than 25 years of experience and leadership in planning, managing and delivering information security deployments to help CompTIA members secure their and their customer’s sensitive/business critical data. He joined CompTIA in March 2022 and ConnectWise in 2018 when the company acquired Sienna Group, a security solutions provider. During his five years at Sienna Group, he served as a principal consultant who focused on data classification, FISMA compliance and managed security services. Prior to that, he was a senior director of federal services for Symantec where he oversaw delivery and project management functions for the Department of Defense and other federal organizations, a network engineer for BAE Systems who identified and documents information security best practices, and a senior network management architect for Belenos Inc. where he developed a network management practice for the company’s southeast region. Wayne held the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and recently acquired the Certified Data Protection Solutions Engineer (CDPSE). He currently resides in the Tampa Bay Area.

Pat Cannon is US Signal’s Field Chief Technology Officer (CTO). As a seasoned professional with over 15 years of IT consulting and leadership experience, Pat has extensive experience architecting scalable, secure, and resilient solutions for customers in a wide variety of industries. Pat’s experience as an IT consultant allows him to look at business objectives and technology options to produce solutions that have a meaningful impact on customer operations.

Jeremy Warren is the CEO of Monarx, a cybersecurity company specializing in protecting websites from attack. Monarx’s proprietary technology detects & prevents malicious activity proactively, automatically, and safely. Monarx saves time & money for hosting providers around the world, and enables them to drive extra revenue by reselling active protection to their customers. Prior to joining Monarx, Jeremy was the Chief Technology Officer at Vivint Smart Home, the largest home automation company in North America. In this position, Jeremy was responsible for all of Vivint’s product-related software development and analytics capabilities, as well as its technology roadmap, partnerships, and strategy. He joined Vivint upon its 2012 acquisition of 2GIG Technologies, where he was also the CTO. Prior to 2GIG, Jeremy was the Chief Technology Officer of the U. S. Department of Justice, where his responsibilities included formulating the Department’s technology strategy, providing technology expertise in program oversight, performing research, and coordinating all aspects of the Department’s technical architecture. Jeremy was also the Chief Architect of Lavastorm Technologies, where he focused on rules-based processing systems, data mining, and statistical analysis. Jeremy studied computer science engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

James R. Slaby is the Director of OT Solutions at Acronis. Previously, Slaby was an industry analyst covering cybersecurity, cloud computing and networking at Forrester Research, HFS Research, Yankee Group and The Info Pro. He has also held solutions, vertical, product and campaign marketing roles at tech security and networking vendors including Sonus, Acme Packet, Bay Networks and Motorola.
