Cloud software and hosting industry veteran, Patrick brings over 20 years of experience in technical, management, and leadership roles in which he continuously brought innovation and global growth to brands.
Patrick joins Acronis from GoDaddy, where he most recently served as President of the Partner Business. In that role, he led the company’s strategic expansion of its Hosting, Productivity, and Security services through resellers and agency partners. Combining that experience with his product development expertise, Patrick is an expert in developing successful, cloud-based go-to-market strategies, particularly through service providers, resale channels, and strategic alliances.
Previously Patrick held executive leadership roles as CEO of Host Europe GmbH and Group CEO of Host Europe Group (HEG), where he served as Group COO – having grown HEG from a small business to one that sold for $1.8 billion. He earned his MBA from The Open University in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, England.
SB is the founder of Acronis, currently serving as the company’s Chairman and Chief Research Officer. Prior to this role, SB served as Acronis’ Chief Executive Officer from 2013-2021. SB was also Acronis’ first Chairman of the Board from 2003-2007 and again from 2019 to present-day.
Before founding Acronis, SB served as Parallels’ CEO until 2011, a company that operates as a global leader in virtualization and automation software. SB still provides leadership to Parallels today as the company’s Executive Chairman. SB is also the co-founder and Executive Chairman of Acumatica, and a Senior Partner at Runa Capital, a global technology-focused venture capital firm he co-founded with university colleagues in 2010.
As of July 1, 2021, SB has stepped down as CEO of Acronis so he can better lead the company’s technology and research strategy as Chief Research Officer. SB’s role now includes a larger focus on overseeing and directing the company’s advanced technologies, as well as its university relations program – including the Schaffhausen Institute of Technology (SIT) in Switzerland, which he co-founded in 2019.
SB sits on the Governing Board of the Centre for Quantum Technologies in Singapore. He holds a B.S. in Physics, an M.S. (Hons) in Physics and Electrical Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from MIPT.
Originally from New Zealand, Craig Jones leads INTERPOL’s Global Cybercrime Programme. The objectives of this Programme are to reduce the global impact of cybercrime and protect communities for a safer world. Under this mandate, he focuses on operational delivery, cyber threat response and capabilities development in support of 194 INTERPOL member countries.
With over 27 years of law enforcement experience, he is an expert in the area of cyber/digital crime investigations and capabilities development. Previously, he held several senior management positions in the UK law enforcement, most recently at the National Crime Agency in the UK. In this capacity, he coordinated UK’s law enforcement response to the National Cyber Security Programme, which underpinned the UK’s National Cyber Security Strategy.
He has successfully delivered multi-million Euro projects, designed to increase cyber capabilities and capacity at regional, national and international levels. He also worked on the international capacity framework project, representing the UK and now INTERPOL, at the Global Forum for Cyber Expertise working groups and forums.
He is recognized as a strategic leader, and identifies and assists in shaping policies that deliver outcomes and results against international and national cyber strategies. He also anticipates and predicts the long-term impact of national and international developments including economic, political, environmental, social and technological aspects specific to the cyber threat.
BG Gaurav Keerthi was a helicopter pilot in the Republic of Singapore Air Force and held a diverse range of senior command and staff appointments in MINDEF over his 20-year career. In his final tour, he was the Commander of the Air Defence and Operations Command, where he oversaw the networked operations and cyber defence for the RSAF and was concurrently the Chief Innovation Officer of the RSAF. Gaurav has also served a stint at the Ministry of Trade & Industry (2008-2010), as part of his exposure in the Administrative Service.
Gaurav was the Assistant CE in CSA, covering International Cyber Policy, Operational Readiness, and Engineering, prior to his current role. As the Deputy CE, he oversees the cybersecurity capability and ecosystem development to help keep Singapore’s cyberspace safe and secure. He has given numerous talks and keynotes on cybersecurity, to students, members of the public, multinational organisations, and at conferences locally and abroad.
Gaurav completed his undergraduate at Stanford University on an SAF scholarship, and his graduate studies at Harvard University (he was a recipient of the Littauer Award at Harvard Kennedy School) on the Lee Kuan Yew Scholarship.
Outside work, he enjoys reading, jogging, playing guitar, and programming. He was an active volunteer in the debate community previously and has developed numerous non-profit digital platforms and tools. He leads the national “TechForGood” volunteer-run charity under BetterSG.
Gaurav is married and has one son.
Originally from South Africa, Jacqueline has accumulated a wealth of experience in law enforcement within the South African Police Service (SAPS) and has recently been appointed the Head of the Africa Cybercrime Operations Desk at the INTERPOL Cybercrime Directorate in Singapore. Under this mandate she focuses on joint cross-jurisdictional coordinated operations within the 49 Africa Member Countries to reduce the global impact of cybercrime and to protect communities for a safer world.
With over 31 years of law enforcement experience, she is a trained hostage negotiator, operational trainer and an expert in the intelligence and operational environment.
Previously she held several management positions within the South African law enforcement, such as Senior Special Investigator at the Directorate for Special Operations as well as recently the Head of the Financial and Cybercrime Intelligence Unit in South Africa.
She has strong experience in the collection, coordination and operationalisation of cybercrime threat intelligence. In this capacity, she also formed part of the Cybercrime Steering Committee responsible for developing the SAPS Cybercrime Strategy and Policy documents.
Jacqueline is also an avid nature lover and enjoys hiking with her family and friends at special locations.
Bryce leads the Security Solutions Architecture function in Southeast Asia and is responsible for helping customers build secure, reliable solutions with AWS. Bryce is passionate about and has spent the last 20 years helping organizations build sustainable security capabilities and reduce the harmful impacts of cybercrime. Prior to joining AWS, Bryce held security leadership roles in the financial services and cyber security industries. Most recently he headed the security architecture, consulting and engineering functions at Standard Chartered Bank as they underwent a multi-year security and cloud transformation. Prior to this, he was the APJ CTO for cyber security firm FireEye, where he counselled governments, militaries, companies, and corporate boards in their approach to cyber security. Bryce also spent 10 years building security and technology risk capabilities at UBS Group, including four years as the Group Security CTO, responsible for incorporating security into the enterprise architecture. Bryce holds a master’s degree in computer science with a thesis in cryptography from The University of Auckland
Originally from Romania, Anca has accumulated a wealth of experience across different countries and regions including the UK and most recently Singapore. Alongside this, she brings an extensive network and experience within cybersecurity recruitment, and currently helps to hire professionals within the technical as well as governance side. This is across mid to senior executives including CISOs, CIOs and well sought after ITGRC, security engineers, offensive security, and cloud security.
She has strong experience in advising various businesses ranging from newly established technology start-ups to large banking players and consulting firms in their talent strategy within cybersecurity. Her commercial acumen has resulted in many partnerships and successfully helped businesses achieve their goals.
Ee-Chien Chang is an Associate Professor in the School of Computing, National University of Singapore (NUS). He received his PhD in Computer Science from New York University, and was a postdoctoral fellow with DIMACS in Rutgers University and NEC Labs America. His research focuses on cybersecurity and is particularly intrigued by cross-domain problems. His earlier works include multimedia security, such as image forensic, image watermarking and biometric cryptography. More recently, he has been investigating machine learning under adversarial environment, Trusted Execution Environment in the cloud, and cyber-range technologies. He has published in reputable conferences and journals, including CCS, EUROCRYPT, USENIX Security, etc. He chairs a committee that oversees Bachelor of Computing Infosec degree in NUS and was involved in the design of many security related modules. He is a lead-PI of National Cybersecurity R&D Laboratory (NCL), NUS.
Simone Heng is a human connection specialist and former international broadcaster for the likes of Virgin Radio Dubai, HBO Asia and CNBC among others. With over 15 years experience as a communicator on-air, on stage and one-on-one in different countries, connection has always been her life’s work.
As a speaker, Simone inspires people to connect in a world thirsty for connection. She has spoken to thousands and for clients like Google, Salesforce, SAP, Ted X, The United Nations and many more. Simone and her work has been featured in Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, CNN and many more.
Simone is based and was born in Singapore but has also studied in Switzerland, was raised in Australia and worked in the United Arab Emirates. She has a Communications and Cultural Studies degree from Curtin University of Technology. Simone also has a Certificate of Higher Education Teaching from Harvard University.
As one of the most established women in the fields of technology and cybersecurity, Shamane Tan is the Chief Growth Officer at Sekuro, leading the security outreach strategy with the C-Suite and executives. Recognized by IFSEC as a Global Top 20 Cybersecurity Influencer and awarded ASEAN Top 30 Women in Security, the ‘Cyber Risk Leaders’ and ‘Cyber Mayday and the Day After’ author was also listed in the 40 under 40 Most Influential Asian-Australians.
Winner of multiple awards including ARN Shining Star (Multinational) 2021 and AiSP Singapore’s Cybersecurity (Professional) award, the TEDx speaker and podcaster is presently serving on the Advisory Board for Black Hat Asia Executive Summit. Shamane is also the founder of Cyber Risk Meetup, an international community and platform for cyber risk executives to exchange learnings
Claire is Singapore’s only female race car driver, a former TEDx speaker, mother of two, and has 15 years of media experience in the Lifestyle and Motorsports industry. Having sold her previous business The Karting Arena, she is currently the co- owner of The Film Dispensary, a marketing company working in robotics and the blockchain tech
An avid Apple user, Johnson is passionate in helping organisations succeed with Apple. He comes with a wealth of experience in accelerating digitization and Apple deployment during his 7-year tenure with Jamf, the standard for Apple Enterprise Management. Yury has 15+ of experience delivering innovate enterprise endpoint management, RMM, and cyber protection solutions. Amos is passionate in latest technology trends. He comes from a solid technical IT infrastructure background. He has over 14 years of experience in the IT industry. Holding multiple certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, and Red Hat. His interests and specializations include Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange Server, Hyper-V and VMware virtualization, Office 365 and G Suite, Cisco Routing and Switching, Network Security, and Linux Server.
Among some of the companies that he had been with previously are Microsoft, IBM, T-Systems, Atos, HCL, NCS, and Visa. He held positions ranging from Solutions Architect, Presales and Techncial Consultant, Systems and Network Engineer, IT Manager, and Technical Trainer. Amos likes sharing his knowledge and experiences with others. His current and last 2 job roles were Training related.
Anna Severinko joined Virtuozzo in 2005 and currently serves as the company’s VP of Engineering. In this role, she partners with senior leadership to define future software products that will benefit Virtuozzo’s partner base. She leads multi-national, cross-functional, distributed teams responsible for research and development, testing and delivery of Virtuozzo products. Anna ensures that Virtuozzo solutions meet the highest quality standards and that the organizations and their products remain at the forefront of innovation. Anna takes pride in her team being a vital member of many open-source projects, including Linux Kernel, QEMU/KVM, and OpenStack.
During her tenure at Virtuozzo, Anna has held multiple leadership roles, including Director of Software Development and Quality Assurance Manager of Server Virtualization product line. She enjoys working at the cutting edge of virtualization technology and co-creating the future of container virtualization, virtual machines, software-defined storage, and workload management.
Anna holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Computer Science from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, and has completed multiple professional and leadership courses, including the High Potential Leadership Program at Harvard Business School.

As Head of Curriculum and Training, Ron is responsible for curriculum and training development for enabling partners, end-users and employees at Acronis.
With over 15 years of training delivery, management and development experience in the IT software and training industry in Apac, Ron has a deep working knowledge of how training and enablement can transform individuals and companies and accelerate returns on investment.
In his 20+ years in cyber security, Kevin has been protecting the network of various organisations, including the 3rd largest bank in Europe, where he implemented cryptographic protection. As a CISO and Vice CIO of Yandex, the 10 billion NASDAQ traded search engine, he supervised the security strategy and launched the company’s bug bounty program, building one of the world’s first IPv6-only data centers, developing innovative authentication schemes. Following that, Kevin was in charge of the IT infrastructure at Lazada, the largest online retailer in SEA, where he helped ensure the company’s triple digit growth.
As CISO of Acronis, Kevin is in charge of developing cutting-edge security solutions and leads the company’s Cyber Protection Operation Centres (CPOC) worldwide.
IT industry veteran with over 20 years of experience, focusing on cloud and digital transformation, business development, sales and marketing. Recognized for his broad international experience in emerging and developed markets, Pasha is used to leading operations in multinational environment – experienced in running large teams and managing $500m+ businesses.
Pasha Ershow served as Acronis Chief Revenue Officer in 2018 – 2020, and since 2021 took the role of Acronis Senior Vice President, responsible for Global Channel Strategy and also managing APJ & MEA Sales, based out of Singapore. Prior to Acronis, Pasha held executive roles at major companies like Microsoft, Ingram Micro and Parallels.

As a board advisor and Chief Revenue Officer, Jan-Jaap Jager brings more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry. Previously, he was CEO of the Intergenia Group, one of the largest hosting companies in Europe. Jan-Jaap has extensive experience in developing and growing emerging markets. In 2006, he joined SWsoft, now known as Parallels, and build a whole new region from scratch that contributed substantially to Parallels’ revenue.
